Aquashella is one of the biggest aquarium and reptile events in the country. It’s part expo, part festival, and completely open to the public. Whether you’re a seasoned aquascaper or setting up your very first tank, it’s a chance to see gear in person, talk to the people who build it, and get inspired by some seriously impressive displays.

Ascension 9 All-In-One Aquarium System, ASC-09

Planning Your Visit
The New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center sits just off Route 1 in Edison, with easy access from the Turnpike and Garden State Parkway plus onsite parking. It’s a straightforward drive from New York City, Philadelphia, and most of the tri-state area, and NJ Transit’s Metuchen and Edison stations are both close by.
- Come early Saturday, since the first couple of hours are the least crowded
- Wear comfortable shoes; the floor is bigger than it looks
- Bring a cooler or insulated bag if you plan on taking livestock home
- Measure your shelf, desk, or counter before you go. The AquaFin models are 7.87″ deep, and the 8-gallon needs a full 31.5″ of width
